Death and taxes in life are certain, knowing how to pay only your fair share should be the third certainty on your list. Taxes are the price we pay for civilization. Make sure you only pay what you are required to, given that the civilization we as Kenyans have access to comes at a relatively high price.
With the increased surveillance tools and technology being implemented by our revenue authority, scrutiny on our fiscal affairs is at an all-time high. Are you aware of your obligations and more so your rights in regard to the taxes you are supposed to pay? What tax planning opportunities can you take advantage of to reduce the ever increasing burden?
