Overview

Devolution remains a key anchor of bringing development closer to the citizens. As devolved units move to the second term, citizens, formidable expectations about financial prudence are yet to be met. Hope therefore lies in the design of the accountability structures that will ensure social equity, service delivery and citizen engagement to deliver on every shilling spent from the tax payers’ money. It is in this light that ICPAK has organized the conference with focusing on:

 NETWORKING COCKTAIL, TEAM BUILDING & GALA DINNER

Conference participants will get opportunities to network and share experiences both in the formal sessions as well as interact with their peers during the welcome cocktail scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, 11th April 2018 and gala dinner on Thursday, 12th April.    On the afternoon of 13th April, conference participants will engage in CSR and outdoor team activities.

SPOUSES & ACCOMPANYING PERSONS

The organizers have developed a side event for spouses/ accompanying persons at a discounted fee.  The fee above will cover their daytime meals and attendance at the Cocktail and Gala Dinner.

NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AUTHORITY (NITA) REIMBURSEMENT

The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations. Remember that to qualify you should apply to NITA for approval prior to the date of the conference. Further details can be obtained from their website (www.nita.go.ke).

Kindly note that booking for the Conference is available only online at www.icpak.com/events and will close on 6th April at 12:00 Noon. Payment by Mpesa, Bankers Cheque, Bank Transfer, MasterCard, Senator and Visa Card is acceptable.

 CANCELLATIONS & SUBSTITUTIONS

All cancellations must be notified in writing addressed to CPA Makokha Wanjala. At no time are telephonic cancellations sufficient. Cancellations received on or before 6th April 2018 shall be eligible for full refund less 15% administrative fee. No refund shall be made for any cancellation received after 6th April 2018. The Institute’s liability in the event of conference cancellation will be limited to a refund of the conference fee less administrative fee.
