Most companies have collapsed due to Stunning losses and major financial scandals that have paused a great challenge for company directors, and regulators on Corporate Governance. Risk management strategies have failed, and there is widespread existence of unethical business behavior, fraud, and corruption. Most of the scandals facing organizations include, false payments, fraudulent loans, leasing fraud, deliberate overcharging, fake invoices, bribery, kickbacks, false rebates and warranty claims, conflicts of interests, false reporting and much more. Financial Managers, financial controllers, Internal and external auditors are finding it difficult to argue it is not their responsibility to find fraud.
However, despite fraud being one the largest unmanaged risks in companies today, many employees have not received training on analyzing data for fraud Red Flags, use of Whistleblower, investigative interviewing techniques and practical use of RAT STATS statistical software.
It is against this backdrop that ICPAK has organized the Coast Branch Forensic Audit Practical Skills Workshop to focus on:

- Dealing with Contract and Procurement Fraud
CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT UNITS (CPD UNITS):
Members of ICPAK and those from reciprocating professional bodies will be awarded 14 Structured CPD Units upon successfully completion of the workshop.
The workshop charges are Kshs. 10,000. Charges will cater for the workshop fees, learning materials, and e-certificates of attendance.
