Kenya’s economic development outlook is expected to be affected by the disruptions caused both locally and globally by Covid-19. The gross domestic product is expected to decelerate significantly. The Central Bank has revised its estimates from the initial 6.2% to 3.4%. The government must find a balance between reducing the spread of the virus and cushioning Kenyans against the adverse economic effects posed by Covid-19. This webinar will focus on the economic development threat posed by Covid -19 and the possible measures that the government can undertake to protect the economy and stimulate growth.

- Impact on household and business spending
- Manufacturing services
- Financial Services
- Government response to Covid -19 – activities directed towards stimulating the economy
