Many businesses invest in cybersecurity to reduce cyber threats and to prevent the possibility of a data breach. Unfortunately, these breaches are difficult to eradicate as cyber attackers are evolving along with technological advancements to extract potential resources and information.
The core of cyber resilience is the ability of the organization to stand firm on three critical issues:
• Prepare for adverse circumstances
• Adapt to overcome cyber threats
• Withstand a crisis and recover from it
Cybersecurity threats are increasing and evolving with each passing day. Organizations should make decisions based on the fact that a failure in their network defenses is imminent and they must develop a mechanism to mitigate the harm. This is where resiliency in cybersecurity comes in. In the event of an attack, cyber resilience will assist organizations to minimize harm and ensure service and business continuity.
Cyber resiliency is a concern at multiple levels in an organization such as program managers, mission owners or cyber defenders. These different audiences need to learn whether cyber resources for which they are responsible for, or which they depend on, are sufficiently resilient against advanced cyber threats and, if not, which controls can be instituted to improve. resiliency.
Considering the above concern, the Institute has organized a webinar on” Implementing Resilient Cybersecurity Controls”.

• Types of cyber attacks
• Cyber resilience health checks
• Cyber resilience reviews
• Cyber resilience best practices

Members of ICPAK and reciprocating professional bodies will be awarded 2 Structured CPD Units upon successfully completion of the Webinar.
The Webinar charges are Kshs. 1,000. Charges will cater for online video access fees, learning materials, and e-certificates of attendance
