OVERVIEW

As access to the global marketplace grows with cross border transactions, it is vital to expand and improve your knowledge of the tax laws and systems pertaining to the various markets as well as to explore various techniques in international tax planning.
Acceleration of your understanding of critical tax laws and regulations affecting cross-border transactions is essential to minimize the tax burden on income and profits for you and your clients.
Consequently, there has been increased reliance on international taxes compared to the use of other taxes and this has played a key role in tax reforms put in place by many governments. This seminar has been specifically designed to meet the needs of professionals from various backgrounds who wish to develop their competence in the field of International Taxation, and benefit from the credibility that this expert knowledge will afford them. Specifically, the sessions will cover the following international tax related areas;

  1. Introduction to International taxes and emerging issues
  2. Permanent establishment in corporate tax planning
  3. Principles of International Taxation
  4. Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) considerations in Transfer Pricing
  5. Introduction & history of income tax in Kenya and link to international taxes
  6. Double taxation and related treaties and conventions
  7. Customs and international trade
  8. Introduction to customs and EACCMA
  9. International taxes and the link to accelerated economic growth and development

CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT UNITS (CPD UNITS):
Members of ICPAK and reciprocating professional bodies will be awarded 10 Structured CPD Units upon successfully completion of the Webinar.

FINANCIAL COMMITMENT:
The Webinar charges are Kshs. 10,000. Charges will cater for online video access fees, learning materials, and e-certificates of attendance
