Theme: Leadership Development for Women: Enhance your Leadership Abilities

Introduction:

Despite years of advances in both legal and corporate policy, many qualified women don’t get the jobs they want. Misperceptions, stereotypes and misplaced emotions on the part of either gender can still sabotage a woman’s career hopes—unless she takes a more strategic approach to her career.
This leadership training will show women how to strategically use;  ‘their strengths and abilities—their competitive edge—while mastering their emotions in  the most unwelcoming atmosphere. You’ll learn how to build a network of support, take smart risks and view competition in a more positive light. Discover how to conduct yourself in a manner that earns you respect, and pursue your goals with positive energy. Return to your job feeling confident, ready to compete fearlessly, and in a better position to be recognized for your true capabilities.  ICPAK has organised this training to focus on:

  • Unleashing Blue Ocean Strategies towards career progression; Independent Women Directors.

The Insight of  Blue Ocean Leadership :  is that leadership, in essence, can be thought of as a service that people in an organization either ‘buy’ or ‘don’t buy’. Every leader must deliver performance and followers who need the leader’s guidance and support to achieve. Where people value your leadership practices, they buy your leadership and are inspired to excel and act with commitment. But when employees don’t buy you leadership they disengage, becoming non customers of your leadership.

  • How to strike a balance between Ethics and Morality
