BRANCH ELECTIONS 2020 AND HOLDING OF VIRTUAL ANNUAL BRANCH MEMBERS MEETINGS

Following announcements of 1st COVID-19 case in Kenya on the 13th March 2020 and subsequent issuance of guidelines by the Ministry of Health and the Head of State, the Institute scaled down its operations including postponing all planned Annual Branch Members Meetings Scheduled for March – May 2020 conforming to the measures set by Government to manage and control the spread of COVID-19 in the Country.

With the successful holding of the 42nd Annual General Meeting on 12th June 2020, the branch leaders have proposed holding of virtual Annual Members Meetings. The following dates have been adopted for the virtual AMMs:

1.        NYANZA BRANCH 15th May 2020 28th July 2020

Subsequently, the following positions in the Branch Executive Committees 2020/2021, VACANT.

I invite nominations from among members of respective Branches to the positions indicated above. Interested members are requested to send dully filled nomination form to branches@icpak.com by close of business Monday 6th July 2020. The nomination form is attached herein.

Note:

  1. Only members in good standing with respect to paid up subscriptions, CPD requirement and with no pending disciplinary cases will be cleared to vie for the above declared vacancies.
  2. Only members registered with the respective branch will be eligible to vie for the positions above or vote.
  3. According to the Branch Governance Policy, one must have been a member of the Institute for not less than three years and must have also served the in the Branch Executive Committee for at least one year to qualify for the position of Branch Chairperson.
  4. Kindly confirm your attendance to the respective AMMs by booking online under special events  The event is free and members in attendance shall be awarded 2 CPD Hours.
  5. Voting for the vacant positions will be done online as per the following Schedule.
