Overview
Every year, ICPAK hosts its members, representatives from other professions, business leaders, ICPAK’s corporate partners, Institute’s past Chairmen and Council members among other prominent guests to celebrate professional achievements as they recognize great men and women who have selflessly made contributions that have positively shaped and enriched the accountancy profession in Kenya. Targeting over 400 participants, the event will provide a forum to network with colleagues and other professionals, whilst enjoying a fun-filled night.
Professional accountants continue to make meaningful contribution to the economy at the local, national and global levels. Specifically, high-quality corporate reporting is key to improving transparency, facilitating the mobilization of domestic and international investment, creating a sound investment environment and fostering investor confidence, thus promoting financial stability. Now in it’s 9th year, ICPAK Chairman’s Ball continues to celebrate professional accountants who leave an indelible mark while at the forefront of service delivery in their different spaces.
This year’s Ball comes in the wake of just concluded national elections as the various office bearers prepare to be of service to the nation. Accountants and other professionals have a significant stake in supporting the national and county governments to deliver their promise to the citizenry. Also key to note is the election and appointment of accountants and other professionals to key dockets. This calls for distinguished service to the profession and country, which is the premise of the Chairman’s Ball. ICPAK and other like-minded professional bodies will be keen to support their members in accomplishing the service delivery promise.
