Reforms in the public sector aimed at improving service delivery and accountability have received considerable focus in recent times. Global trends such as rising customer expectations, budgetary constraints, global competition for investment and public sector reform programmes have transformed the environment in which the public sector operates. Fundamental to the demand for better public services are the heightened expectations of citizens on matters accountability. NETWORKING COCKTAIL, TEAM BUILDING & GALA DINNER
Conference participants will get opportunities to network and share experiences both in the formal sessions as well as interact with their peers during the welcome cocktail scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, 15th November and gala dinner on Thursday, 16th November. On the afternoon of 17th November, conference participants will engage in CSR and outdoor team activities.

The organizers have developed a side event for spouses/ accompanying persons at a discounted fee. The fee above will cover their daytime meals and attendance at the Cocktail and Gala Dinner.
NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AUTHORITY (NITA) REIMBURSEMENT
The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations. Remember that to qualify you should apply to NITA for approval prior to the date of the conference. Further details can be obtained from their website (www.nita.go.ke).
Kindly note that booking for the Public Sector Accountants Conference is available only online at www.icpak.com/events and will close on 10th November 2017 at 12:00 Noon. Payment by Mpesa, Bankers Cheque, Bank Transfer, MasterCard, Senator and Visa Card is acceptable.
CANCELLATIONS & SUBSTITUTIONS
All cancellations must be notified in writing addressed to CPA Makokha Wanjala. At no time are telephonic cancellations sufficient. Cancellations received on or before 10th November 2017 shall be eligible for full refund less 15% administrative fee. No refund shall be made for any cancellation received after 10th November 2017. The Institute’s liability in the event of conference cancellation will be limited to a refund of the conference fee less administrative fee.
