This is an ICPAK’s Inaugural Financial Management Conference for Higher Education Sector
2.0 About Mombasa: The Events Venue
Mombasa is a beautiful Kenyan city mixed filled with exotic and scenic attractions, fantastic activities and tropical ambience. It is located in the South-Eastern Part of Kenya bordering the Indian Ocean and is a city of different faces. As Kenya’s second largest city, the city hosts a major seaport, international airport and a wide variety of tourist attractions, famous world class beach hotels, parks, leisure spots, neighbourhoods, Mamba Village crocodile park, Haller Park and Mombasa Marine Park. Modern Mombasa is a city of great diversity and life. Mombasa is a place where both history and progress are greatly valued, where a busy harbor existence is lived at its own unique, tropical pace.
Navigating around Mombasa city
There are plenty of rickshaws (tuktuks) everywhere. Uber taxis, Kenatco taxis and Sideways taxis are also available to assist with your city tours.
3.0 CPD Units
Members of ICPAK and reciprocating professional bodies will be awarded 20 CPD Units upon successfully attending all conference sessions

5.0 Financial Commitment
The seminar charges for the Financial Management Conference for Higher Education Sector are as follows:

These charges cover conference fees, writing material and meals during the conference. The conference package includes cocktail and gala dinner.
6.0 Installment Payments
Delegates may pay in consecutive installments using the early bird rate fees provided above. The deadline for early bird rate is on 4th June 2018
Payment after that will not qualify for the discount offer, the full conference fees must be paid on or before the Tuesday 19th June 2018.
7.0 Networking Cocktail, Team Building & Gala Dinner
Conference participants will get opportunities to network and share experiences both in the formal sessions as well as interact with their peers during the welcome cocktail scheduled for the evening of 20th June, on the 21st June a themed gala dinner from 1930hrs to 2300hrs and On the afternoon of 22nd conference participants will engage in outdoor team activities and conclude the event.
8.0 Spouses & Accompanying Persons
The organizers have developed a side event for spouses/ accompanying persons at a discounted fee. The fee above will only cover conference meals and attendance at the Cocktail and Gala Dinner package.
9.0 Travel and Accommodation Information (VERY IMPORTANT)
All delegates are advised to make their own preferred travel and accommodation arrangements in advance- this is at delegates own cost
Delegates from other nationalities are requested to check with their Kenyan Embassy/ High Commission for their travel requirements. We will assist with letters of invitation or any other confirmations that may be needed to facilitate issuance of VISAs

12.0 Online Booking
We call on convention participants to note that booking for the Financial Management Conference for Higher Education Sector is available only online at www.icpak.com/events and will close on the 19th June 2018. Delegates are reminded to note that online booking for events is mandatory.
13.0 National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Reimbursement for Kenyan Delegates
The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Kenyan participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations. Remember that to qualify you should apply to NITA for approval prior to the date of the conference. Further details can be obtained from their website (www.nita.go.ke).
