OVERVIEW

The pace of change continues to increase through rapid developments in technology which are likely to transform ways of working in the accounting profession.

Whilst some of this change is likely to be evolutionary rather than revolutionary, much of the mundane ‘number-crunching’ and data processing currently undertaken by accountants will be automated over the next few years.

This should not be regarded as a threat, but more of an opportunity to embrace the softer skills and more value-added work such as consultancy; advising clients and businesses on how to derive more value from their business models. This will require a change of skill set and an appreciation of the wider issues impacting business ‘beyond the numbers’.

Continuous Professional Development Units (CPD Units):

Members of ICPAK and reciprocating professional bodies will be awarded 1 CPD Unit upon successfully attending the Webinar.

Cost:

Charges for the training will be Kes1,000/= which will cover Webinar fees, and an e-certificates of attendance.

How to participate

Please make your booking online. Thereafter, a proforma invoice will be sent to your email with payment details and instructions. Upon clearing the payment, a link will be sent to your email for joining the webinar.

We call on Webinar participants to note that booking is available only online at www.icpak.com/events and will close two hours before the training session.  Delegates are reminded to note that online booking for training sessions is MANDATORY.   This is available either online at www.icpak.com/events  or on the ICPAK Live – A smart phone based application that is available from google store.

National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Reimbursement:

The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations. Remember that to qualify you should apply to NITA for approval prior to the date of the conference. Further details can be obtained from their website (www.nita.go.ke)
