During the Institute’s 38th Annual General Meeting held on 3rd June 2016 at the CPA Centre, the following resolutions were passed by members;

  1. That the Institute proceeds to establish a benevolent scheme that would support members’ families as follows:
    1. In the event of loss of a Member, a member’s family will get a financial support of Ksh. 75,000 from the Institute to supplement the last expense budget;
    2. In the event of loss of a Member’s spouse, a member’s family will get a financial support of Ksh. 65,000 from the Institute to supplement the last expense budget; and
    3. In the event of loss of any of the four enrolled minor primary dependents of a Member, a member’s family will get a financial support of Ksh. 55,000 from the Institute to supplement the last expense budget.
  2. That the Institute proceeds to revise Annual Subscription marginally skyward by Ksh. 1,200 to cater for the new benevolent benefits

In line with members’ resolution at the 38th AGM and in congruence with Part II, Section 5 of the Accountants Act No.15 of 2008, this is to prepare you for revised invoices for 2017 Annual Subscription.

In due course, you will be prompted to enroll with the Institute your family members who shall be covered by the benevolent scheme. The benefits will be effective from 1st February, 2017.

Always at your service,
