Over 1500 of our members have emigrated and are working beyond the borders of Kenya. Since the inaugural Annual Seminar held in 1984\, the forum has grown into the Institute’s flagship professional development event\, symbolizing resilience\, unity and the profession’s unwavering commitment to the public interest. \nThis edition aims to discuss how trust and credibility remain fundamental to the functioning of economies\, institutions\, organisations and societies. In an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world\, the ability of institutions and professionals to earn\, maintain and restore trust is becoming more important than ever. The global environment is being shaped by economic uncertainty\, technological disruption\, changing patterns of work\, sustainability challenges\, geopolitical developments and increasing demands for transparency and accountability. These changes are reshaping how governments\, businesses and professional institutions operate and how citizens and stakeholders assess their credibility. \nFor Kenya\, these developments come at a particularly important time. The country continues to pursue economic transformation while navigating fiscal pressures\, public debt\, changing global economic conditions\, institutional challenges and the need for sustainable and inclusive growth. At the same time\, organisations are under increasing pressure to demonstrate not only financial performance\, but also responsible leadership\, sustainability\, resilience and long-term value creation. Against this backdrop\, the accountancy profession has a critical role to play. Accountants and other professionals are entrusted with financial information\, public resources\, organisational decision-making and the assurance of credibility. Their responsibility therefore extends beyond technical compliance to include professional integrity\, ethical leadership\, accountability and the protection of the public interest. \nThe 43rd ICPAK Annual Seminar – Edition II therefore seeks to provide a high-level platform for professionals\, policymakers\, government leaders\, business leaders\, international organisations and other stakeholders to examine the changing nature of trust and credibility and the role of professionals in shaping Kenya’s future. \n\n\n\nDate\nTheme\nTopics\n\n\nDay One: \nMonday 9th Nov 2026\nArrival & Registration \nNetworking\n\n\nDay Two: \nTuesday 10th Nov 2026\nTrust\, Ethics & Leadership\n1.       The Role of Professionals in Safeguarding Public Trust \n2.       Ethical Leadership: Accountability\, Integrity and the Choices we Make \n3.       Public Finance\, Accountability and the Cost of Trust Deficits \n4.       From Professional to Nation Builder: The Responsibility of the Accountancy Profession\n\n\nDay Three: \nWednesday 11th Nov 2026\nNational Leadership & Governance\n1.       Leadership in a Changing World: Rebuilding Public Trust and Confidence in Institutions \n2.       Policy and Public Value: Bridging the Gap Between Policies and Economic Realities \n3.       From Policy to Prosperity: What Must Kenya Do Differently to Unlock Sustainable Economic Growth? \n4.       The Leadership Imperative: Ethics\, Accountability and the Future of Public Institutions \n5.       Devolution at the Crossroads: Are Counties Delivering Value to Citizens?\n\n\nDay Four: \nThursday 12th Nov 2026\nSustainability\, Technology & The Future Accountant \n1.       Building Organizations That Matter: Sustainability\, Purpose and Long-Term Value \n2.       Beyond Compliance: Why Sustainability Will Define the Competitiveness of Nations and Organizations \n3.       The Accountant of the Future: From Financial Stewardship to Value\, Trust and Sustainable Transformation \n4.       Technology\, Automation and the Changing Profession\n\n\nDay Five: \nFriday 13th Nov 2026\nPersonal Development \n1.       The Power of Wellbeing: Health\, Fitness and Wellness for a Thriving Professional Life\n\n\n\nTARGET AUDIENCE: \nThis workshop will be useful to all professional Accountants and those aspiring to join the profession \nCONFERENCE CHARGES \n\n\n\nDetails\nAmount\n\n\nAssociate Members\nKes. 64\,000 per Delegate\n\n\nFull Members\nKes. 69\,000 per Delegate\n\n\nNon-Members\nKes. 74\,000 per Delegate\n\n\nVirtual Option (Members)\nKes. 25\,000 per Delegate\n\n\nVirtual Option (Non-Members)\nKes. 25\,000 per Delegate\n\n\nAccommodation\nDelegates are advised to make own accommodation arrangements\n\n\n\nBookings Deadline: Bookings close on Friday\, 6th November 2026 at 17:00 pm \nCONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT UNITS \nMembers of ICPAK and other reciprocating professional bodies will earn 20 Structured CPD points upon successfully attending the 43rd Annual Seminar Edition 1. \nNATIONAL INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AUTHORITY (NITA) REIMBURSEMENT \nThe Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority.
