In Kenya\, the Government has implemented various reforms aimed at enhancing public finance management. With the introduction of the devolved system of government\, a new dimension of PFM has emerged\, bringing with it additional challenges related to human resources\, institutional structures\, and operational frameworks. This workshop is designed to offer a comprehensive overview of IPSAS and their integration into PFM practices\, with the goal of improving financial reporting and governance across public sector institutions. \nThe workshop also provides an important platform for public sector professionals to strengthen their competencies in financial management and reporting. By deepening understanding of IPSAS and encouraging the adoption of best practices in PFM\, the programme seeks to promote greater financial transparency\, accountability\, and operational efficiency within public entities.
