The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) is a statutory body of Accountants established under the Accountants Act CAP 531, with the mandate to develop and regulate the Accountancy Profession in Kenya. The Institute is also a member of the Pan Africa Federation of Accountants (PAFA) and the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the global umbrella body for the accountancy profession
We are part of Certified Public Accountants network of 40,000+ members. We provide training, certification, and continuing professional development opportunities to our members, who are required to adhere to ethical and professional standards to ensure integrity and accountability in their work.
ICPAK held a consultative meeting with the Governor of Taita Taveta County, H.E. Dr. Andrew Mwadime, on areas of mutual interest. The discussions focused on possible collaboration on the Accountability Index and the MSME Scale-Up Programme. They also covered capacity building for county staff, opportunities for CPAs within the county, revenue generation from carbon credits, and joint research initiatives.

ICPAK – Western Branch, in collaboration with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) Kakamega Chapter, participated in the Kakamega Business Forum, themed “Unlocking Kakamega Wealth.”
