Leaders from ICPAK and KASNEB convened for their joint board meeting, reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening Kenya’s accountancy profession. Key discussions centered on the review of KASNEB’s accounting examination syllabuses, ICPAK’s advisory on examination standards and policies under Section 8(d) of the Accountants Act, Cap. 531, and the ongoing review of the Act itself. The two institutions also explored emerging trends in accountancy education and identified priority areas to deepen collaboration.
Together, both institutions reaffirmed their resolve to elevate the quality, relevance, and credibility of accountancy education, keeping the profession responsive to national and global demands.
