The Financial Reporting Workshop: Mt. Kenya Branch, Nyeri

With the rapid developments in accounting standards, regulations, industry practices, and technological advancements there is need for continuous training in order to keep abreast of the dynamic setting. ICPAK has organized this 2 day workshop to address selected IFRSs relating to financial statement preparation, accounting for revenue, off balance sheet vehicles and accounting changes and correction of fundamental errors. The workshop will also look into integrated reporting and mobile payments transparency & reporting.

Training Objectives

At the end of the workshop, participants will:

  • Gain practical knowledge in applying selected IFRSs.
  • Master the techniques in making financial reports.
  • Appreciate the importance of integrated reporting.
  • Analyze the impact of mobile money platform of financial reporting and decision making

 

Target Audience

Preparers of IFRS financial statements, Auditors, Accountants not directly responsible for financial statement preparation, Audit committee members of public and private entities that require a reasonable knowledge of IFRS, Academicians

The workshop will be held on 26th – 27th November at Greenhills Hotel, Nyeri. Charges areKshs. 7, 950 and Kshs. 9, 950 for ICPAK members and non members respectively. 14 CPD Hours will be awarded to members in attendance. Associate members will pay Kshs. 5,950.
