On 14 October 2026, ICPAK, led by Chairman CPA Prof. Elizabeth Kalunda, held an engaging mentorship session at Taita Taveta University (TTU), bringing together over 300 students and professionals to share experiences, knowledge and insights on career development and the accountancy profession.
The session offered students practical insights into accounting and finance, highlighting the importance of professionalism, ethical leadership, continuous learning and networking in building successful careers.
The mentorship was facilitated by Council Members CPA Olive Gitau and CPA Bichanga, alongside Coast Branch leaders CPA Emmaline Katana, CPA Jackson Bebewa and CPA Rashid Mbarak, among other Executive Committee members. Students also benefited from the wealth of experience shared by FCPA Dalton Mwaghogho, a member of the ICPAK College of Fellows Committee and former Coast Branch Chairperson.
The ICPAK delegation was warmly received by the university leadership, led by Prof. Christine Onyango, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic, Research & Outreach); Dr. Mwakio Mwagandi, Dean of the School of Business, Economics and Social Sciences (SBESS); Madam Anne Kemunto, Lecturer; and the leadership of the Students Association of Taita Taveta University (SATTU).
