CALL FOR ENTRIES 2025: FiRe AWARD 2025
The Financial Reporting (FiRe) Award is the most prestigious and coveted Award in East Africa for financial reporting. The award is held annually by the joint Promoters; Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), Capital Markets Authority (CMA) Kenya, Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), Public Sector Accounting Standards Board-Kenya (PSASB), and the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA). The Award is aimed at promoting quality reporting through enhancing accountability, transparency and integrity in compliance with appropriate financial reporting frameworks and other disclosures on ESG (environmental, social and governance) reporting by private, public and other entities domiciled in East Africa.
The period for holding the FiRe Award 2025 is here with us and this year’s event is themed around fostering compliance to International Standards to enhance transparency, comparability & accountability. The award will highlight the important role that International Standards plays in providing a wholesome view of a company’s performance and providing stakeholders with relevant information for decision-making.
Submission of Entries
Private and public sector entities are invited to submit their entries between Friday, 1st August 2025 and Friday 12th September 2025 for review by a panel of experts in advance of the award. The Award promotes financial reporting excellence, fosters sound corporate governance practices and enhances corporate investment and environmental reporting for financial transparency and accountability.
Participating entities should avail a softcopy version of their latest Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements to fireaward@icpak.com and complete the Participant’s entry form which can be accessed on the FiRe Award website: https://www.fireaward.org/

The Conference and Award Ceremony
The 2024 FiRe Award Conference will be held on 4th December 2025 at Serena Hotel while the Award Ceremony and Gala Dinner will be held on 5th December 2025 at Safari Park Hotel.
