IFRS 13-Fair Value Measurement webinar
Date: 15th September 2026
Time: 04.00pm-06.00pm
Venue: Virtual Delivery

Overview

IFRS 13 Fair Value Measurement establishes a comprehensive framework for measuring fair value and enhances the consistency and comparability of fair value disclosures. Fair value estimates play a critical role in financial reporting, especially for entities dealing with financial instruments, investment properties, biological assets, business combinations, and impairment testing.
Despite being applicable for many years, preparers auditors, and regulators continue to face challenges such as:

  • determining the appropriate valuation techniques,
  • identifying observable and unobservable inputs,
  • applying the fair value hierarchy (Level 1, 2, and 3),
  • documenting assumptions, and
