Overview
Internal auditing is essential for promoting governance, managing risks, and ensuring organizational compliance. In today’s rapidly changing global business environment, coupled with technological advancements, it is crucial for internal auditors to remain informed about current standards and best practices. The International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF), developed by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), serves as a comprehensive guide to improve the quality and consistency of internal audit functions worldwide.
The International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IPPF) provide a framework for effective internal auditing, offering guidance on principles, standards, and implementation providing a balance of flexibility and rigor. These standards are built on fifteen core principles that guide internal auditors in their work. The principles establish the foundation for internal auditing, while the standards offer practical guidance on how to implement these principles. By adhering to the IPPF, internal auditors can ensure the quality and effectiveness of their work, ultimately contributing to organizational success.
This seminar aims to delve into these standards and explore their practical application, empowering internal auditors to deliver greater value and drive organizational success in an increasingly complex and dynamic business environment success. Cost:
Charges for the training will be Kes 10,000/= which will cover workshop fees, materials, and e-certificates of attendance.

National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Reimbursement:
The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations.
