Overview
The Kenyan tax landscape has undergone changes over the last couple of years, with much emphasis on legislative reforms, digitalization of revenue administration, expanded compliance reviews, and an increased focus on enforcement. These changes create new opportunities while at the same time introducing their own set of compliance challenges for finance, accounting, audit, consulting, and enterprise management professionals.
With businesses operating in an increasingly dynamic regulatory environment, the need to understand tax laws, compliance obligations, emerging trends, and practical application of tax principles has never been more important. The recently assented to Finance Bill to Finance Act brings to focus new areas of compliance opportunities and challenges that professionals need to pay keen attention to. A key opportunity is the tax amnesty program, which runs till the end of 2026, a good gesture from the Kenya Revenue Authority to taxpayers.
It is against this backdrop that ICPAK has organized this workshop The workshop offers a structured platform for participants to engage with subject matter experts, discuss practical case scenarios, and enhance their learning on navigating complexity in taxes with an aim to ensure the highest level of compliance and efficiency within organizations.
